Ray Tracing

CSI Technologies can produce custom animations and 3D graphics using a variety of tools. Some examples are included below.

Ray Dream Studio - These animations were created using RayDream Studio 5.0 from MetaCreations.
The GIF file was created by reading the AVI file produced by RayDream with Animation Shop version 1.0 from JASC. Each image took about twelve hours from conception to finished GIF file.

Truespace3 - The images above and to the left were created using TrueSpace 3 from Caligary as was this "CSI" logo featuring animated lights.

The Porsche is an object included on the TS3 CD ROM. All other artwork is original.
POV (various editors) - This particular image was produced to compare the fog simulations of various modelers and rendering engines. This is a very low-res preview. The high-res image that I did not save, was very attractive. DGW Fog Test.gif (9638 bytes)

Output can be delivered in nearly any computer graphics format. Animations can be delivered as AVI, MOV or GIF files. Animation format for Video and Film can be specified as an option. Other ray tracing information and links
